Position Summary
The Senior UKG Ready Payroll & Time & Labor (TLM) Implementation and Support Specialist is responsible for the end-to-end implementation, optimization, and ongoing support of UKG Ready Payroll and TLM modules. This role serves as a subject matter expert (SME), partnering with internal stakeholders and clients to design compliant, scalable payroll and workforce management solutions while ensuring operational excellence, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities – UKG Ready Implementation
- Lead full-cycle UKG Ready Payroll and TLM implementations
- Configure payroll rules, earnings, deductions, taxes, accruals, and retro pay
- Design and implement timekeeping rules, overtime logic, schedules, and shift differentials
- Integrate UKG Ready with benefits, GL systems, time clocks, and vendors
Payroll & TLM Support
- Provide Tier II/III payroll and timekeeping support
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and tax variances
- Support year-end, quarter-end, audits, and reconciliations
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
- Apply FLSA, ACA, and wage/hour laws within system configurations
- Assist with audits and documentation
Required Skills & Experience
- Advanced UKG Ready Payroll and TLM configuration experience
- Strong payroll, tax, and wage/hour compliance knowledge
- 5+ years payroll systems experience; 3+ years UKG Ready preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- UKG Ready certifications
- CPP or FPC certification
- Consulting or payroll services experience
